In order to assist parents who need care for their children outside of normal school hours, FBCS offers both before and after school care for our students enrolled in PK through 8th grade. Child care is offered only on days school is in session. It is not available during holidays, vacations, or snow days.
Before School Care is offered from 7:30-8:00 a.m. Monday – Friday for students enrolled in PK – 8th grade. Students may be dropped off anytime during that time frame and may choose to bring their prepared breakfast with them. At 8:00 a.m. before care students are sent to their classrooms to join those students arriving at the regular start time.
Before School Care Pricing:
After School Care is provided from the close of school to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday for FBCS students enrolled in PK – 8th grade. Children may stay in aftercare on a regular, daily basis or on an occasional part-time, as-needed basis. It is our commitment to provide quality care at a reasonable cost to parents. Parents are billed for the first hour and then in half hour increments for any portion of the half hour used.
The afternoon includes snack, supervised homework time, free play in the gym, and group play with building and board games. As weather permits, the children are supervised outside on the playground. Occasionally, there will be a movie afternoon with popcorn. Normally, children are expected to provide their own drinks and snacks.
After School Care Pricing:
Late Pick-Up Charge: $10 for any portion of first 15 minutes, $1 per minute per child thereafter.
